I called just before closing time and, after waiting on hold, was hung up on twice. If calls aren’t accepted close to 5 p.m., it would be more honest to list your business hours as 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. rather than 5 p.m. It’s disappointing to experience this level of service.
My wife has just attended Lakes Radiology for the very first time. She has previously had a number of these same scans at other a radiology centres, so knew what to expect. She has only wonderful things to say about her visit there. Everyone was friendly and helpful but the outstanding person was the sonographer Lisa, who went above and beyond the scope of work requested on the referral. Thank you Lisa.. I had a pregnancy appointment scheduled at Lakes Radiology for 1:00 PM. I was feeling incredibly sick and vulnerable, but still made the effort to get there. When I realized I was running just 7 minutes behind, I called out of courtesy to let them know — hoping for a little understanding and kindness. Instead, the sonographer canceled my appointment on the spot. No grace period. No compassion. Just a flat-out cancellation and a new appointment offered a week later. I contacted the clinic after 7 days (day 8) to obtain the report, as instructed on the clinic's portal. The receptionist, contradicted the information on the patient portal, saying, "well it's about 7 days." She then advised me the report was available on the day of the xray, but would not forward the report to the email address listed on the patient portal or upload it to the patient portal, for a stated reason of privacy (protecting my privacy from myself???), but in reality it was unavailable because she is just lazy and ... read more
