Tom is always friendly & knowledgeable. Did a great job, repaired my unit & cleaned up after. Would definitely recommend.
I have used Lakes for 13 years now, and I will say I will never call them again. They came out to fix my furnace, had to call York tech support and then gave me a quote of $700 to replace a gas valve. I paid the $190 fee to diagnose and ent him on his way. I then had another company come out and the replaced to gas valve for $280, no $700. Lakes was really pushing for me to buy a new furnace for $5800, but I had to pass. Don't trust these guys, they aren't the trustworthy people I used to ue years ago

I would NOT recommend Great Lakes Heating and Cooling. I called them to fix my old AC. The technician first pressured me into replacing the entire system for $5000 telling me that the compressor was dead and it would cost almost the same to replace it. After I made absolutely clear that that was not an option as we were in the middle of facing huge medical bills because of a serious family member condition, he actually stopped pretending to diagnose the problem and told me perhaps there was a repair option but it was expensi... read more
