I’m glad to have finally moved out. The biggest issue was that the quality of the property, amenities, and service simply did not justify the rent. Maintenance was consistently slow and unreliable. My garbage disposal stopped working despite rarely being used. I submitted around 4–5 work orders, only some were actually addressed, and it still was not functional when I moved out. Just renewed my lease on my second year. The apartments are peaceful & very clean! We almost never see any garbage or dog poop. Which is a relief because that’s one reason we left my last complex. We love being surrounded by forest and fields. Lots of great places to walk. Lexie has been great. Move in process was quick & smooth. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a safe & clean community.

There were several significant factors that contributed to the decision to move out of Lakemont Ridge/Abbey Creek (Lakemont Ridge West), but one incident in particular made it clear that staying was no longer an option. Charged for things They says they wouldn’t charge for during pre move out inspection. Charged over $300 for water bill in 900 sq fr place. Explanations of extremely high water bills in the past were blamed on outside water (sprinklers etc) that they say residents have to pay for . Worth noting that on two occasions those sprinklers ran for three days straight and flooded everything. Parking is a nightmare. There is a reason they are offering 2 months free rent right now .
