I'm so pleased with this facility and staff. Our granddaughter started in the toddler program and now at 2yrs old she is in the discovery program and she is so happy there. Our 6yr old granddaughter also attended their program in the summer before she started school and she loved it. Miss Rebecca is a wonderful teacher and Miss Shalini is great. Our family has been at Lakemont Academy for over a year now, and we couldn’t be happier. My daughter truly loves going to school, which says everything. The staff is incredibly caring and supportive especially Ms. Shalini, who has been amazing and wonderful and makes learning fun and engaging. And Lauren, the center director, is just fantastic always so warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring toward both the kids and parents. We’re so grateful to be part of the Lakemont community and highly recommend it to other families.

- very high teacher turnover - I saw a teacher very roughly putting a toddler in his chair which I reported to the director. - sent home a candy bar with nuts to my son who had a severe allergic reaction (they have his allergies on file) - for kids with allergies, I found out my son was having canned pears and cucumbers for lunch without any protein offered which is unacceptable - hallway carpet is very dirty + classrooms are clean + some of the teachers are great like Ms. Becca but most others were just there to babysit and... read more

My two children (2 years and 3 years) have been attending Lakemont Academy for a year now and we love it. The teachers have been brilliant and the curriculum and activities seem to be engaging and fun. There’s a real community feel and we have become friends with several other families who we see regularly in the local playgrounds after school. A huge plus for this place are the grounds which are set back from the road and surrounded by trees, the outdoor space is great so the kids are able to enjoy the outdoors over summer.... read more

I am very happy that my son, Ryan, goes to Lakemont Academy. Miss Gitta, the director of the Academy, is a very experienced, kind and thoughtful person. Miss Vibi and other teachers are also very kind and caring. Ryan my son is always excited for going to the academy to spend time with his teachers and classmates. I can clearly see the improvements in Ryan’s social behavior, english proficiency and cognitive development since he started going to academy six month ago.
