As others have stated, you will not get your deposit back. The owner David will definitely go dark on you and not return your calls, so don't let your initial interactions with him fool you. I rented there for over a year and half. When I moved in it needed work, which I didn't mind and did all by myself. I left it in far better condition that when I got it - was told I converted it to the best looking office in the building. Very unprofessional! Cancel my appointment for no reason and unscheduled my sister appointment after she couldn’t finish other appointments!
Unresponsive and very unprofessional. I was really great tenant here. This landlord David is choosing not to contact me about returning my security deposit to me. It's very unfortunate because I could have referred new renters to this building. Now I have nothing nice to say about David. I will be seeking legal advice moving forward
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! You will not get your deposit back no matter what! You can sue David but he will never pay! You can expect the ceiling to flood into your suite ever other week. Electrical is faulty so it will cut off in the middle of doing a service and it’s so old that you will have to wait for them to replace the piece. The landlord is rude the building gets robbed the cameras do not work. The security doors do not work.
