Called to schedule an emergency appointment because fluid was collecting in my eye and I was unable to connect to the office. I spoke with a scheduling assistant from the Cleveland Clinic and she insisted that because I didn't have the right insurance I couldn't schedule an appointment until I spoke to a financial advisor about being able to pay for an exam that would have cost less than $200.
