RecommendedI had the unfortunate experience of having to put my dog down. Dr Billig was so wonderful. Let me hold my boy through the procedure, pretended to not see my ugly crying, gave me time. For that, I am very appreciative Real animal lovers on staff.

I have been bringing my dog and cat here for 10+ years but my parents have brought our family pets here my whole life. When my cat was sick and had to be put down the whole staff had such compassion. When my dog was attacked by another dog a vet and tech stayed late on a Friday to care for my fur baby. They are AAHA approved meaning they need to pass an inspection and meet certain standards. I can trust them and am happy that such a wonderful animal hospital is in McHenry.

For as long as I’ve lived here (29 years), all the animals have come here all their lives. Great care, compassionate and caring doctors and techs. There is no place I’d rather go.

The staff was very attentive and informative. They answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns. The doctor was incredibly intuitive and gentle with my Edgar. I would recommend this animal hospital to everyone.
