We stayed two nights at a full hook up site. I wasn’t sure about the location at first, but it ended up being great. You can walk to everything. I would definitely stay again, but not in a full hookup site. I would stay in water and electric only because they have a better view. We had a view of the big white propane gas tank but all in all it was OK. Not five stars because it’s literally a parking lot but definitely 4+ for the convenience factor. RV Park Review 4 of 5 stars I’ve stayed at Lakehead Boat Basin in Duluth, Minnesota five or six times now, so I know the place pretty well. The biggest draw is the location — you’re right on the water, which is fantastic for boaters and anyone who wants easy access to the lake. That convenience is the main reason we keep coming back. Site #26 Water/ Electric $59.30/night including tax (Cash price) $61.67/night (credit card price) Check in : 1500 Check out: 1100. Check in is at the Lakehead Service Center just prior to entering the marina and where the campsites are located. Lakehead Boat Basin is not your typical campground. It’s basically a parking lot at the marina that offers RV sites., but it’s by far the best parking lot I’ve ever camped in. Some sites are FHU and the others are W/E only. I couldn’t be happier with the service I’ve received. What started as simply using their fuel dock, where I was able to get a card, fuel up whenever I needed, and be billed monthly, has turned into a great overall experience. Recently, I needed some service work on my pontoon to repair a trim gauge, and everyone I dealt with was friendly, helpful, and genuinely interested in making sure things were taken care of the right way.
