I tried getting admitted to this facility in October of 2021. I was a HORRIBLE experience! The substance abuse folks who were trying to get me a bed faxed over my information to them 5-6 times and they kept saying to resend the assessment, etc. Never received a response to a follow-up and I had sent and communication just stopped. Having been blessed to receive care here I can honestly say I was cared for and about. Staff has a passion for the residents and has personal experience as well. My insurance failed me, but they still let me stay and never let me know just what sacrifice they made. There is no place like this and it is truly a blessing to have it here in whatcome county
What lake whatcom center he become is utterly disrespectful. After working for the company for 3 years I finally made the decision to leave. The new administration are more concerned with their personal wealth than actually helping those who are vulnerable. LWC stop blaming your clients you are the problem.
