Lake Side doors came out within a few hours of my call and replaced the broken coils on my garage door. They were very friendly, efficient, and got the job done.

We needed to have our garage door springs replaced and we had Lakeside Doors come to install it, but afterwards, they advised us that it would be better to replace the garage door itself. We went through with what they said and scheduled a date for it after they gave us an estimate. I think we’ve been scammed. We had our garage door spring replaced and now they won’t give us a refund for the replacement springs. After we got a new garage door installed, they failed to mention that it comes with it own springs and we have to pay additional fees for those new springs as well as the old springs. They didn’t offer a discount for not refunding the previous new spring that barely been used.

I had called to inquire about a new double garage door. The office person was nice, which is why I’m giving two stars. She offered to have someone come out and give me an estimate. I said I’d have to call back with a date and time, since I work during the week. Today, I receive a voicemail from the tech, Larry, who said that I’m scheduled first on his route today, and that since I’m not home it “screws his whole schedule up for the day.” As far as I’m concerned, that’s a very unprofessional way to conduct business.
