We've been coming to Lake of the Woods for the past 26 years and love it! Enjoyed cabins in all areas of the resort, but our favorites are the Oaks and the Aspens! We want to try the big one, the Chalet sometime. It's very peaceful. They appear to be due for some updating, but that's too be expected. Definitely recommend staying here!
This is our second stay and both times the staff, the cabins, and the fishing have been just awesome. They have new lifetime guests.
I've been going to Lake of the Woods since I was young. Now I get to take my kids there!
Quiet and relaxing, that's what we came here for, would love to come here when it's snowing! Really happy with our stay!
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Cabin amenities were good, but furniture upholstery was in need of a good cleaning. The website is slightly misleading in that the Wi-Fi was non-existent or extremely slow. You're three to enjoy the outdoors anyway, right?
My mom, sister and I spent 3 days here with our 2 small dogs and it was so great! It was so relaxing and there are plenty of things to do like exploring and playing games among other things. Staff was great and friendly. Cabins are nice and clean. We'll definitely be coming back again. I loved it!
