It's easy to earn five stars when everything goes according to plan. Stepping up to make things right in the face of a challenge is tougher, but Lake Norman Glass and Custom Closets did just that. We encountered an issue with the order for our glass shower enclosure, and they quickly rectified the order to our satisfaction. Yesterday our beautiful frameless shower was installed and we love it! I did like the work performed. It was actually very nice. However, the cabinets in garage were not the length ordered. There were problems with billing, and I also asked for a quote for the laundry room. Never got one. Poor customer service.
My issue is the $69 fee, plus parts, just to come for a service call. And this enclosure does require service-the hinges deteriorate; the door bottom sweep needs replacement; the door periodically needs to be aligned. The initial installation had a few hitches but eventually was finished and so far the actual glass has been fine.
The final product turned out good it just took longer than expected. Person came out to measure and make template and said it would take two weeks for glass to be fabricated. When the installer came to put glass up the door was only a foot wide. The measurements were all off. The installer remeasured and said it would be two more weeks for new glass to be cut. I felt the second fabrication could have been completed sooner since it was their mistake. The second time around went well and the finished product looks good.
Lake Norman Glass & Custom Closets really bent over backwards to help on a shower repair for a closing. I can't thank you enough!
