Last spring got the usual cleaning, a couple min exam then presented with nearly $2000 of work needed.. had a bad vibe about this. This fall found a new practice..no work needed.
So I haven't been to the dentist since 2022 and had some gum bleeding under one tooth After seeing the dentist he told me I had great teeth but needed a deep cleaning because my gums were bad. My treatment plan for a deep cleaning was 1700 dollars with insurance only paying 400. They wanted 1200 out of pocket for a deep cleaning. Dear Lake Mary Dental I know I havent been to the dentist in four years but your floors dont look they have been cleaned in four years either. I hope someone charges you 1700 dollars to clean them
I received a bill with no explanation or itemized details about what the charge was for. I called the office three separate times requesting clarification and never received a callback. To make matters even more confusing, I haven't been a patient at this practice in over 14 years. A simple explanation and return phone call would have gone a long way.
