Absolutely disgraceful experience with Lake Macquarie Scooters Mobility and More. The owner, Jane Farmer, is one of the rudest and most unpleasant people I’ve ever dealt with. She preys on vulnerable people in our community, showing zero compassion or professionalism. She sells second-hand mobility equipment while falsely advertising it as new, despite clear signs of wear and tear — and charges inflated, unreasonable prices. Hi everyone, I would like to let everyone know my great experience at Lake Macquarie Scooters Mobility and More in Morriset near Newcastle. I needed Rollators for my mum that hand a one-handed braking system as my beautiful mum has severe osteoarthritis in her left hand and had a fall which has left her with a severe neck impingement in her neck causing her mobility problems using her left hand. Locality was convenient so family paid the higher prices for 3 pieces of furniture/equipment. Call out fee to examine HiLo bed was OUTRAGEOUS - no action - only a suggestion for family to pull it apart to straighten bent bracket. Lost our future business & will stop recommending Jane & her shop to others.
Jane was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Her caring manner and advice on what was required made rehabilitation after surgery as smooth as possible.
