My names Christine Toby, I I’ve just spent 17 nights at Lake Macquarie private hospital and want to thank the wonderful Doctors, Nurses Wardsmen and all the support staff at Lake Macquarie hospital Gateshead. From the Ambulance Service the the ED Doctors and Nurses to ICU staff , then finally on to Hills Ward for more care and recovery. Great Hospital, great staff very friendly and service orientated, really good care, meals very enjoyable, no trouble in recommending this hospital and it's associated services.
I was booked into this Hospital for an AF Ablution procedure to be done. I would like to say from the very first time I arrived at the hospital I was guided by the loverly receptionist to the admissions area. I arrived at the administration desk and finalised my admission for one night stay also had an excellent lady there to guide me through the process. So the cafe shuts at 2pm which is ridiculous. You have people visiting after work and nothing for them to consume/buy for the patients that we are visiting. Vending machines are also overpriced with very little choices.
