My wife woke with chest pains and face pain so we went to ED at Lake Mac. After triage we were taken to bed 1 and assessment began. The complete and detailed treatment eliminated the issues of concern regarding the heart and provided appropriate options. Every staff member provided excellent informed caring assistance. One of the nurses, Jordyn, was exceptional in all aspects of her care, understanding and support. Melbourne you have lost an awesome and amazing nurse in Jordyn and we in Lake Macquarie are the winners.
I want to just say a huge thank you to the amazing staff. The could not have been more professional, more engaging and just made the entire experience as good as it could be.
You pay $450 to see a doctor. Ask for a blanket & get told you have a fever, that’s why you’re shivering. You don’t need a blanket. APPALLING. You go to the wards. You have to take your own medication. Not like the public system where they give you ALL medication when you’re admitted, so they can control everything that goes into your treatment. NOT RAMSAY. They will charge YOU (not your insurer) for any medication they give you. (Not in the public system, they’ll send you home with 7 days of medication for free…..NOT RAMSAY... read more
