Have been referred here several times and they refuse to give me an appointment to see a psychiatrist. Would recommend that patients go to the James fletcher hospital in Watt street in Newcastle. Avoid the Lake Macquarie clinic at all costs.

Receptionists at this Charlestown clinic are the worst. I go along to support my 30yo daughter. You're greeted bluntly and abruptly or, spoken to with overcooked fake insincere enthusiasm. You can see and hear everything going on in that fishbowl office, the glass is not soundproof so you hear all the calls and conversations even the complaints line number being given out to a man who walked in. Unbelievable, I got there waited an hour and had to go, they calles me back and said I was there at the wrong time, I said I was there when they told me to be, I wasn't well and had to leave, this was followed up by a call saying I'm a pot head and saying I hung up on the some woman when it was the woman who hung up on me and accusing me of a pot problem and bringing up past oil purchases as if they were yesterday when it was a year ago through a doctor, basically everything was my fault, when I say there having panic attack... read more
