I love this place. Great meats with helpful and friendly service. They really take time to get to know you. Case in point, I had just checked out and I was asked what I was doing with my steak. I told them what recipe I was making and they suggested that another steak would work better. No fuss, they swapped out the steaks and guess what? They were right, the steak they recommended worked better! I love this place and come every week. Highly recommended if fresh food is important to you.
I used to give it 5 stars but until the recent change in prices for dog bones I change my mind. Every week I would buy bones for my dog..usually 4 cuz it's just under $10 which is awesome!!!!! It provides my dog hours of entertainment at just $2 a bone. Now they changed it to $4 a pound. Ridiculous...expecially when I look for the thick bones cuz my dog is a strong chewer....so now instead of less than $10 it will shoot up to $15 or $20. Also, to be clear, the price is increasing slightly - but we do have to purchase bones in to keep up with demand. That price has gone up. We also have given our staff several raises since the last time we raised dog bone prices, which was several years ago, electricity costs more, gas costs more, insurance costs more. I hope you can understand that we do need to make a profit, as that is the only way we can stay in business. We aren't trying to rip you off, just fairly charge for our products. Thanks!
