If I knew then what I know now I would NEVER have let these people near our coach. PLEASE BUYER BEWARE. RecommendedMark and his team saved our trip! We are first time RV-ers, rented a beautiful Forest River Georgetown for 30 days to drive up the east coast all the way to Acadia National Park in Maine. Long story short, one of our slide-outs wasn’t functioning. The RV owner ordered the part, had it delivered to Lake Gaston Auto, and Mike and his team fixed us right up. I am so thankful for Mark and his family. We were passing through the area on our way to Roanoke Rapids when our Trailblazer broke down. We are from Pennsylvania and we were stuck almost an hour from our campsite. They went above and beyond for us. They made sure that we made it to our campsite safely and fixed the Trailblazer as quickly as possible to get us back on the road to home. My first visit to this shop. I just had a state inspection done. The waiting area is comfortable and wifi is available. I will be back.
Spent most of a day there while they looked at rv a/c that wouldn’t blow air. Wanted to replace fan motor and fan blades. Couldn’t get parts before we had to head home in Texas. Had it looked at in Texas and had it fixed within an hour. Replaced Capacitor $20 part. $75 service. RUNNING GREAT !!
What a gem! It's difficult to find RV Service shops where I live and I traveled over 3 hours to get some work done on my RV by Mark and his technicians. It was worth every mile to get there and I will return in the future. Definitely a top notch shop.
Absolutely the best mechanic shop I have ever been. The staff is amazing and very friendly. Always willing to listen and fix the issues at very reasonable rates. Highly recommend Lake Gaston Auto & RV. Honesty and great service.
These folks were awesome! We show up the morning before their vacation and they still squeezed us in the very busy schedule. They got us fixed, did oil changes and off on the road again! No muss no fuss and cost effectively! Thanks!
We had an appointment and they couldn't bother to call and cancel. I drove up to Americamp at Lake Gaston and waited and when I finally called them, I was told the guy called in sick. Not very professional and wasted my whole afternoon. I was willing to pay the $150.00 (they told me it was an hour drive... It's 20 minutes) for them to just drive over and look at it since, at the time, I knew nothing about the issue. I have gotten a good education on it now from friends and family that showed up to help and fix the problem.
