If I could add zero stars, I would. Strongly recommend searching out other places. Here’s my reasons: no electronic accounts (like MyChart), leaking ceilings, questionable suggestions from the staff, and I could go on but I’m not spending anymore time on this review. On a side note, their questionnaire ask if you wear a seatbelt and car seats… what year is it?! What parent on this planet doesn’t keep their children safe.
First and foremost the nurses and doctors are amazing. What leaves a lot to be desired is dealing with the reception and front desk or business office. I have three children that are routinely at this practice and various locations. We have always paid and had proper insurance. We recently switched insurance and our provider has only given us a group nunber so far we are having difficulty getting the rest of the information because processing apparently takes ages. A very good place, good doctors and nurses.
We absolutely love Lake Forest Peds.! Dr. Tirkeldsen along with Dr. Hanley have seen our boys and have done a thorough job each time. I was always able to get my son in for same day sick appointments which as a first time mom meant fast relief from anxiety. I have always been treated kindly and with courtesy by nurses and staff. It was a pleasure to be part of this practice for the three years we spent in IL.
