I have been going there for years with all of my cars and was always very happy. I would go on line, get the latest coupon and everyone was happy. Today I went with my coupon and was told it's expired. I asked for them to show me the expiration date and they couldn't. I attempted to show them the coupon was on their website, not a 3rd party website. They wouldn't honor the coupon and the only responses I received were grunts and glares. I will not be returning
Suspected smog check scammer who will fail your first time for some random reason - check all the other reviewers. Personal experience, I had a mechanic do a routine check up the morning before I visited - no problems. The smog test guy "tested" my car for a few minutes and said he couldn't get a reading so he failed the car for that. I followed up with the mechanic and he said he ran the same test without any issues. Fast smog check and convenient, even on a weekend. However, their website is very out of date and no longer displays the right coupon. I don't think they update it anymore. The actual price as of May 2025 is $59.99 + certification fee (at least for my car) but if you ask nicely about if there are any discounts available then you can get $10 off.
My test FAILED despite all my emissions being completed and cleared (see photo), simply because I have an oil catch can installed to help prevent engine damage from oil consumption — an issue that has previously caused my engine to fail. I’ve been coming to this location for several years, but unfortunately, this will be my last visit. I understand they’re just doing their job, but as a customer, sharing my experience through a review is part of mine.
