I called to make an appointment with Dr. Mary Koumas, who was assigned as my PCP through my HMO, and I was told by their staff that the office "does not accept HMOs for non-elderly patients." They are not listed as an "elderly care" or "senior care" practice, and this seems like improper denial of care.
She cares. She is very professional but easy to talk to. I’m very happy with my care.
