Avoid this place at all cost! Go somewhere who knows how to take care of their customers. At first glance, the place seems wonderful. However, should you have any issue at all, they will refuse to help you. Spent thousands of dollars on trees, plants and shrubs from Lake Forest last summer. Two of the dogwood trees (a couple hundred dollars a piece) appear dead this year (not positive since I am not a tree expert). Nic Kennedy neglected to tell the entire story in his above comment. In May 2019, this individual scammed Lake Forest Gardens by using a Landscape Architect’s name/account to receive wholesale pricing. (This Landscape Architect was contacted today, and he stated that this individual was NEVER given authorization to use his account, and he has an email to Mr Kennedy stating this). Mr. Kennedy used this account to purchase 2 Dogwood trees , along with other material, for a bill totaling $1,102.75...not “thousands” like he stat... read more
Nice facility — wonderful experience, but the tree lasted barely a few weeks — and the clean up was daunting!!
Great place to get a Christmas tree! Wonderful memories thru the years!
Awesome place and great family outing day. From the hay ride up to the fields to cut your own tree down, to the hot cocoa and snacks at the snack bar. And this year and outdoor wood fired pizza oven! Always enjoy our visit there! Till next year!
We love getting our tree at lake Forrest every year . It’s our family tradition . Everyone is very nice and helpful .
It’s truly a family event dogs also welcomed
Not nearly as fun as it was in the past with their new mistrusting process and shorter rides, but still i recommend it - none the less.
