We are a full service restaurant that is independently owned, that takes pride in great service, classic food, and a warm and friendly atmosphere. Our menu features seafood, steaks, pasta dishes, etc, specializing in walleye, sunfish, roast duck to name a few. Our extensive wine list has won many awards as well as our Sunday Champagne Brunch which has received "Best Brunch" by Minneapolis/Saint Paul Magazine 21 years in a row.

My mom and I come for a "belated" mother's day every May. The Sunday champagne brunch is the best!!! Fantastic food, drink, and atmosphere. We always have our favorite waitress Monica~~~it is so fun to see her and catch up with her! Thanks Lake Elmo Inn for keeping our tradition going each year and giving us something to look forward to!
Very good brunch great environment little packed but expected with such a great place
Busy staff, maybe short on wait staff? Escargot - very good - last time we had these here both the mushrooms and snails were chewy & tough. Gulf Shrimp - good flavor, but a tad over-cooked - tough & somewhat cold. Drawn butter - warmer did not keep it warm enough. Asparagus, cold - too heavy on the lemon & pepper. Green beans - very good. Duck - good, blueberry sauce was sour/bitter. Steak- very good. Risotto - bland, mushy. We celebrated our sons rehearsal dinner on December 12, 2014. As a retired caterer, I am very fussy with regards to service and quality of food. They blew me away! A very busy time of year and we were in a private room in the restaurant. They nailed every aspect of our evening from proper serving staff ratios, with cheerful attitudes, to every delicious entree. I will not hesitate to select them for future events. They have rightfully earned their recent" minnesota restaurant of the year" award. Thank you!
