NOT A GOOD BANG FOR YOUR BUCK My family along with another family rented this home in August of 2012. The backyard was great with a hot tub and heated pool. The interior of the home was clean but the mattresses, bedding, and the fully stocked kitchen were all of very low quality. It is not what you would expect for $4200 a week. During our stay the gas grill was malfunctioning. We called Lake Effect and they sent over a woman with a new tank of gas. Too many people only write reviews when things go wrong, so we want to take a moment to pass out accolades. We were fortunate to discover Lake Effect a few years ago, and we have been renting with them in beautiful Southwest Michigan ever since. Carie and her staff have been great to deal with. Any time we have contacted them, even after checking in, they have responded very quickly. We will continue to recommend them to our friends & family.
It was great dealing with lake effect they went out of their way to do anything to make us happy. We will use them for years to come.
I have rented From Lake Effect Rentals and Carie O for the last 9 years. Carie O has been a pleasure to work with. She has always taken the time to stop by and make sure we were happy with the rental. She also made sure that she did everything to make us happy. We have loved every house we have rented from her.
