My boys went to ymca summer camp this year. At first it started off really good then I had the most awful experience with the two directors! They did not know how to manage the overall camp or counselors.During pickup time they would give me a disciplinary write up on my children they would not call me to inform me of any situation. I will ask what happened and The director will say he’s not for sure what happened , but my kid gets punished. No proper investigation. The hours are terrible just sell the Willoughby ymca franchise how are you closed on Sunday not to mention you guys close at 4pm on Saturday, I didn’t know it was that time consuming just to work, we all pay way to much not to enjoy this facility, fix the hours and get a grip.
Pools are clean and well maintained
I have an autistic daughter. We are Eastlake residents we use the Huston-Fisher pool. Staff and pool are awesome. I do have a few concerns . Currently the slide is down and my daughter loves it. The handicap chair to get into the pool is broken. It just makes it harder for us to spend the day when things are not working properly. We were told we would get a free day pass . Not a lot of free weights and lots of kids n old ppl but I love the key fob being 24 hrs entry. Steam n sauna rooms are a huge perk. Wouldn’t get a membership here otherwise.
