It feels difficult leaving a negative review for this place as they do have valuable resources such as the Respite Center, but unfortunately Lake County’s Crisis Line is an absolute crapshoot. I’m uninsured so the crisis line is one of the very few options available for mental health help when I’m spiraling, and while the majority of the people working the crisis line are competent and kind, I unfortunately wound up speaking with a woman named “Lynn” today at 8:22 AM who was cruel, antagonistic, and borderline abusive. My girlfriend had a mental health crisis and we didn't know what to do, so we gave this facility a try. Adrian and Nikki (sorry if I misspelled your names) were extremely helpful! She is now feeling much better and I am not sure if it would have been this easy without their help!

Worst psychiatric doctors EVER! Dr.Nimat LIED, forced and changed my medicine many times and NEVER LISTENED TO ME! She told my weight loss psychiatrist that I wasn’t suitable for weight loss surgery because I failed to get in touch and take the medication. Even though, she was on vacation for 4 weeks in Haiti and I told her that the citalopram was making me feel sick! I called and left her 3 voicemails! Yet, she NEVER CALLED ME BACK! Program Coordinator Amy Greskiw of the Crisis team is capable of making you feel AMAZING for an hour straight. After that superficial time passes, she will ignore you and lie. She interviewed me for a job opportunity by story telling and rambling and bragging with the applicant for an hour of small talk while giving assuring promises, but then ends up ignoring all of your future communication efforts.
