Under new management so policies have changed. Finance guy made it abundantly clear there was absolutely no exceptions. They have the patient estimate higher, insurance estimate lower, have people pay upfront, so then they’re happily surprised if they get a credit or a refund. I’ve never worked with a provider who did this especially when I’m walking in with good insurance. I can’t afford to float the money and wait for a refund.
