I’m an out of state investor from Oregon. I’ve bought hundreds of homes across the country. Every county across the country will let you know if there is a lien before you buy the home. You just call them and they will let you know how much if there is a lien. Today I called Lakeport and they won’t give me any information on the home. So I won’t be buying or investing in Lake County CA. I will look to a different county to invest in.
