Lake Country Veterinary Clinic was established in 1985 by Dr. Wayne Beilman. After more than 30 years, the torch has been passed to Dr. Ambrosie as the new owner and she will continue the legacy that Dr. Beilman started for quality care. I’ve had 2 horrible experiences here- first in 2017 and second, just this past weekend. This last time it was fatal for my cat, Ellie. I had adopted my cat from the spca 7 years ago, I brought her home and found she had a severe gum disease. I saw multiple vets, with LCV being my last stop. For 30 years (can it be?!) my family has been with Lake Country; Dr. Beilman and, more recently, Dr. Moell have seen us through both joys and sorrows...not only with their impeccable professionalism but, as importantly, compassion and empathy. Drs Ambrosie and Valin look to be following in their footsteps and are wonderful. The entire staff is hardworking and always looking to make time spent there as stress-free as possible.
They did a great job with our new rescue dog. He gets anxious in new places and around other dogs, but they were very patient with him. Everything was very quick and inexpensive. We'll definitely be keeping them as our vet!
I'll recommend Lake Country veterinarian to anyone when they have any kind of animals this is the most amazing place the staff is polite the doctors are amazing and they all know your name and your pet's name even when you walk in there already know who you are so it's amazing thank you for your great. Maddie Lou has been a patient for just over a year now. Her initial appointments went very smoothly and they were always on time,which I appreciate. We recently started having issues with blood in her urine and they were very thorough and stayed up to date with her issue. Unfortunately Maddie needed surgery as she had bladder stones which they were able to get her in that day. Being a first time dog mom it was the longest day/night of my life. Nothing is better than a vet who "gets" your fearful dog...Dr. Hennigan spent 15 minutes tossing the ball to my pup, earning her trust, and patiently waiting until she was no longer shaking like a leaf and acting like she wanted to eat him. If you're looking for a vet in the Marcellus area, I cannot recommend Lake Country Veterinary enough. I'm pretty sure Dr. Hennigan and my pup are bffs for life now. She spent the rest of our visit shoving her slimy ball into his hand. �
