No!! The Fireworks are BEST at the fairgrounds... There's plenty of parking and you don't have to walk a mile to see the fireworks...It is also a lot easier and safer coming to and leaving the fireworks from the fairgrounds.. Downtown at the lake is a traffic disaster... There are just too many people elbow-to-elbow at the lake...
