This is a fantastic new brewery in northern Michigan! Excellent variety of quality beer, delicious pub food, and awesome service. Located on round lake in Charlevoix, it offers pleasant views! The live music a couple nights a week is a nice touch as well. 5 stars!
LCBC was just what we needed after the boat ride back from adventuring around Beaver Island. I think they have the most enthusiastic staff this side of the Mississippi! Everyone seems truly happy to be here and are very friendly. The brewmaster also told us about the steps they take to reduce/recycle waste from the brewing process....very awesome. The design of the space is also very refreshing. A clean and modern industrial feel yet totally comfortable and organic. Great job LCBC!
Totally unimpressed with the beer and especially the customer service. Management was rude and threatening because I expressed my dissatisfaction in their directions as to what was allowed in their outdoor seating area. Regardless of the "law" they could have approached me in a much nicer accommodating manner. Total jerks are managing this establishment and I have had much better experiences in the taproom with a much better beer selection!
Solid. It's a bit hard to believe they just opened. Their beers are fresh, clean and flavorful. A number of new breweries I have tried have fumbled for the first few months before they perfected their recipes but these guys came out swinging and didn't disappoint. Had the saison and the porter and both were great examples of the style that balanced flavor and drinkability perfectly.
