I am seriously beyond impressed and thankful for Lake Auto Glass. They were the only shop that could get us in immediately and had beyond affordable prices. Both workers were polite and extra helpful.
Made an appointment, arrived at scheduled time and was informed it would be an hour. I walked to Walmart with my kids, got a call around an hour later, asking if I left them my key (which I did). They hadn’t even started my car. I decided to not have them not work on my car because apparently it would be yet another hour. They did locate my key thankfully. I honestly will take my business elsewhere, especially someone who values my time.
I contacted Lake Auto Glass on Thursday, August 27th to replace my windshield. I set up an appointment the next day for 9 AM. As I am walking down to my car at 8:30 AM to leave for the appointment, I receive the following text: “Hello this is lake auto Glass. We were just prepping the windshield that we have for your rav 4 and we noticed that there is a crack in the windshield. So we are going a new one today. RecommendedGot a very reasonable quote. Called the in morning to schedule my same day appointment and got in and out in less than an hour!
Showed up at 8AM to be rudely told the technicians were not here yet. I waited 15 minutes to then be told that the tech was not going to be in for another 2-3 hours so I should just run some errands and come back later. After taking the morning off of work to get my windshield replaced...no thank you. I will not be coming back - EVER.
Got a chip in my windshield a couple years ago. It stayed just a chip for a long time, and then it started to crack. It quickly went from one end to the other. Finally decided to get it fixed. Got tom’s name from our mechanic and he replaced the windshield the next day for half what I was expecting to pay. And it took a little over half an hour!
I was serviced by Tom at the Greenfield location. Someone had busted my front side passenger window out and I needed it repaired ASAP. I called in the morning and got serviced the same day, in less than 45 mins. To add, it was the cheapest place in town! Tom was extremely respectful and nice! When the glass shattered, some got stuck in the door where he couldn’t reach it, he showed me where and explained why it may have a weird noise while operating the 1st couple of days, just as a courtesy...I appreciated that so much! My quote from Safelite was $828 for a cracked windshield. Lake Auto Glass quoted me $323 and in addition completely fixed my rear view mirror that was held by duct tape for the last 6 months and didn’t charge me extra than the original quote of $323. The job was also done one day after my inquiry and it took less than an hour. Safelite couldn’t get me scheduled for 5 days. Very impressive.
