Poor customer service – Very poor customer service. Ordered the wrong item, but they refused to return/exchange the part, even though it was unused (unopened). After multiple emails/phone calls, I was told that they have a "no return - no refund policy". However, I purchased the item over the phone via credit card, and this policy was not comunicated to me at the point of sale. This is just bad business practice. Bad, Bad return policy (as in – I ordered a part (non-electrical ?Front Panel?) for a Maytag dishwasher. The cost of the part was approximately $50. Folsom Lake Appliance asked me to pay over the phone at that time with a credit card. No mention was made to refund or return policies. Upon arrive at home, I opened the box and it became immediately apparent the part was the wrong part. I immediately re-package the part. Excellent repair skills, Great customer service – I've used Scott and Folsom Lake Appliance several time over the past 2 years on a variety of appliance issues. Each time, he arrived on time, was friendly and easy to talk to, and most importantly, fixed my appliance problem. I like the fact that Scott covers a wide range of appliances. From wine fridges to washers and dryers. We now use his safety check program once a year to make sure all our appliances are working properly.
