Was this place once called “Tampa Bay Academy “ back in the early 2000’s? . A psychiatric residential treatment facility for minors. I was a teenager in a facility in 2002 and I knew it was in located in Riverview, Fl but can’t seem to find it now in 2025 so I’m guessing the name changed. Appreciate any help
Rest in peace, Zy'Kiria Bell. Shut down this place, it already has at least one child's death on its hands. According to her aunt, Sophia Bing, she was told that her death was ruled a suicide, however, the teen had never had a history of suicidal ideation. Regardless, even if she had, the academy was still negligent with checking on her, as none of the employees had specialized training, which included suicide awareness and prevention training. I would not give any stars if possible I was court ordered here as a juvenile at 16 I'm 33 now and still have nightmares I could go on about endless stories of abuse this place should've been shut down long ago it shouldn't of taken an innocent child loosing their life to shed light on this
