I had an appointment with Dr Anthony Golding-Cook today at 11:50. The consultation went extremely well as always. I have had some complex issues with my health over the years and he has taken great professional care of me. I am truly grateful for his understanding and kind and caring manner. My partner recently joined here, I am her carer as is palliative. The receptionists won't help with appointment process and are very unhelpful, as a carer we can have many things going on and the help of a paid receptionist is needed not them to pass the buck. If you are unhappy and say you are they hang up. I have not been abusive etc but will give constructive criticism. Obviously there for the paycheck not the nhs care. Very disappointed.
They gave me an appointment at 18.30. Tried to call at 18.00 to inform I would not make it since I could not find a taxi and they are too far, (my surgery is very close to my place, but for some reason they booked me here 🙄🙄) well lines were closed!! Ridiculous! Tbh, I think I will move surgeries. Third one in less than 2 months. What's wrong with the NHS in this town?
Dr Golding-Cook has helped me on two separate occasions in the last year and I am very grateful to him for all he has done for me. Thank you Doctor!
Called in the morning to book an appointment for my son. Sent it away to fill out the online form. I did, but no one contacted me, so call them again. I've been told that someone will contact me before 6 pm. Guess what? No one called me. Called them again to find out what is going on. There is no explanation and no apology, just telling me that I need to call 111. My son is still very poor, and they just don't care at all. It's comedy, not a GP. AVOID !!!
