Dr. Akoud saved my life with a life-saving surgery. Something a Lowell GI misdiagnosed. Dr. Akoud, the best surgeon and transplant doctor in the world, became my Hepatologist, and I almost got a liver transplant until his PA discriminated against me, telling me that I wasn't eligible as long as I kept taking the only agoraphobia medication that helps me from being a shut-in. Choosing a gender affirming care program is an important and life changing decision. The gender health program at Lahey was able to give me some of the results I wanted to achieve but not in one of the most important areas for me. I recommend people find another more experienced program.
I thought there was not a worst hospital than Lawrence General Hospital but NOPE! LAHEY TAKES THE CAKE! STARTING WITH AMY, THE CHARGE NURSE IN THE ER DEPARTMENT. WHICHEVER AMY who was there around 5:45pm today! Never again!
