Unfortunately, I had a negative experience here. I experienced a small bowel perforation during an exploratory laparoscopy on a Monday and was left to suffer for four days. The surgeon noted a dilated loop, but left it - calling it mild, despite the fact that I am on chronic steroids and thus will present atypically.
