I was proud to call this complex my home for over 5 years. I only left recently to relocate to another state. The leasing staff and property manager have always been friendly and happy to help with any issues, and they frequently plan fun community-building events. Both the maintenance staff and the housekeeping staff are excellent and responsive. The owners recently repainted and re-carpeted the inside and repainted most of the outside. Do not move here! Apparently their parking garage is managed by a “third party company” basically some shady towing company that’s located in an extremely questionable and shady location. Takes hours for your turn. Kind of embarrassing to be associated with a company like this but moving on. I was visiting my parents for a weekend and I parked on the fifth floor and registered my car but didn’t realize we need to RE-register it every single day because who has the time. Vehicle was towed from the apartment, and while the parking mistake may have been at fault, the experience afterward was unacceptable. It took nearly 18 hours to get the vehicle released due to an extremely long queue and only one person handling all requests. This caused real inconvenience to the guest. If residents are already paying significant release fees, such delays and poor service are not justified. The apartment management should reconsider working with a towing service that operates this inefficiently.
I've been living at Laguna Vista for about 3 months, and it's been great. The office staff were super friendly and helpful with the tour and leasing process, and are quick to address any concerns. Maintenance is friendly, fast and efficient in resolving the few issues I had, which were minor. The canal area is beautiful, and the walking path around it is tranquil and clean.
