They have no idea what they are doing. I bought new tires there less than 2 years ago and had my oil changed there and tires rotated every 10,000 miles which is what was recommended. I had it there in May for oil change and tire rotation at 92,500 miles. I took it to Wolf motors today in Lesueur for an oil change and they tell me my tires are bald!!! Are you kidding me? Terrible customer service. Did not communicate with me at all about the status of my repair, and didn’t bother to tell me that the needed part was on back order indefinitely. I brought my vehicle elsewhere and it was fixed in a few hours.
I am hoping that my experience with Lager's will draw some attention to their lack of integrity and commitment to their customers. This interaction was with Lager's of Mankato, but they are associated and under the same ownership. I purchased a car this past winter from Lager's, a 2015 Jeep Cherokee. I’m so impressed with you guys. You have always knocked it out of the park anytime my family has been in the market for a new vehicle. I own a small transport company and one of my trucks was going through st Peter and had a problem with our Ram 2500 diesel in the frigid temps. Lagers was swamped and still managed to sneak it in. Even though they didn't have right part, they were able to fix it enough to get my driver home. They even gave us the part numbers needed for the repair to save us time and money at home. Thanks for the great service!!
This place is a rip off!!! My daughter's car broke down on her, while in route to the state fair. The alternator went out, as they passed thru St.Peter. They Charged her $469 to change it!!! First off they charged her $329 for a re-man alternator, which is $126 over what the part stores charges for one!!! Than they charged for 1.5 hours of labor for 15 minute job, plus $ 15 to figure what the problem. Than they didn't complete hook it up right, which cause it short out screw up the starter. Have bought used vehicles from Lager's and could not be more happy with them or the sales people we dealt with either time. As for their service department it is the best and most honest I have ever had work on my vehicles. Craig is honest and has saved me money several times when another dealer told me we needed something done on a vehicle we bought new through them. Can't say enough good things about the honesty or quality at Lager's!
