Lafferty makes an amazing home. We bought a Lafferty in Livermore and rate the purchase superior over Toll, Ponderosa and Pulte! All of which we have purchased in the past. Brittany Lafferty was in fact our sales person. The upgrades were priced reasonably and varied in design. We had a roof leak after 8 years and the company sent a representative to repair the problem!! Great company and I highly recommend purchasing one of their homes!!
After numerousremindersand follow ups in the last three years with Lafferty Builder, our Cottlestone Community in San Jose still does not have a street name sign. Ours' is a private street, so we are left at the mercy of the builder to install the same. I am extremely disappointedat the customer service orientation this builder has. Inspite of raising this issue multiple times during various board meetings, this continues to be PENDING. Why does it take 3 years to install something as basic as a Street Name sign ???? No one picks up the call and no response from the company after they ran in to some legal issues. I paid around 70k for upgrades for the new community home in Manteca and now they dont even bother to let us know whats the status or when anything will happen. Beware of this company. Lost peace of mind
