I purchased a brand new 2024 Volkswagen Tiguan from Lafayette Volkswagen, and before the vehicle reached 8,000 miles it developed a confirmed engine issue requiring major repairs after failing Volkswagen's own oil consumption test. While the repair is covered under warranty, I was disappointed by the customer service.
