I am ONLY giving two stars because the staff at this facility were all so calm, reassuring, caring and genuinely good attitudes considering some of the patients they see may make this hard for them to be so kind and understanding, except one member of the security team I had the unfortunate opportunity to interact with at Ochsner Lafayette General. This hospital really cares about their patients. All the staff caring for my mom went above and beyond. The doctors, residents, nurses, and housekeeping treated you like family. So glad we chose this hospital. I can’t thank y'all enough. Thanks for caring so much it means a lot! Special thanks to the ICU staff on the 7th floor. Nurses Alex, Carly, and Bailey were amazing. i went to get induced in the 17th at 4 in the morning, everything was going great until i had to get my epidural. i dont remember his name but it was a man that did it , it took him literally 20 minutes because he was teaching some nurse lady how to put one in and as he was teaching her he was messing up and had to keep shifting it to the left side of my body. worst pain ever! he finally got it done and when it was time for my baby to come i still felt all of the pain. but after that my nurses who watched over me were the be... read more
Trashy rules. Can't go in the maternity section of the hospital if your under 18, what about the uncles of the child? NO they still won't let you go. 1 STAR is deserved for these obnoxious rules. Abbeville allowed it but yet the old filthy Lafayette general can't?
