I had such a great experience with Laene. She came to my home and was incredibly helpful in guiding me through breastfeeding. She showed me how to achieve a proper latch, which made a huge difference, and also helped me find the correct flange size for my pump. I truly wish I could give more than 5 stars. As a first-time mom, I felt overwhelmed at times, but she made this breastfeeding journey feel supported, empowering, and beautiful. My baby was born with a tight lip & tongue tie, initially he was great at the breast but started having trouble latching / gumming my nipples after discharge. Laene was recommended to us by the hospital staff. I cannot recommend her enough. She is very knowledgeable & personable. I specifically asked for help with pumping. Once she arrived, she focused on breastfeeding and provided little to no advice on pumping.
Said she specialized in tongue/lip ties when I talked to her on phone so I paid out of pocket to get her to visit. When she got to my house she said she couldn’t say anything about my baby’s tie or even if she thinks it is a tie. Why didn’t you tell me that on phone?
