I didn't get to write one before they moved, but I felt I'd be remiss not to sing Syd's praises to the rooftops. They were my stylist for years and even did my wedding (they did the most beautiful hairstyle that made me feel just like a fairy). I was so beyond sad to see them go, and if I ever find myself in Seattle, I'm getting myself back in their chair IMMEDIATELY. 10/10 consults, 10/10 craftsmanship 100/10 service
Went to Syd for the first time and they were amazing! They expertly executed a blunt bob on my very dense hair that likes to turn itself into a triangle if not properly texturized. I was so nervous because I just moved here and immediately felt at ease as they took the time to ensure they were able to understand the vision I had in my mind even if I didn’t know how to articulate it. Syd is my favorite hair stylist I’ve ever had in my life. The balayage: nailed it. The toner: nailed it. The cut (medium length bob with not quite bangs): nailed it. If it’s any testament to how much I value them - well I’m planning to FLY to Seattle from Texas to sit in their chair.
Alex (Alexis artistry) has repeatedly given me the best haircut experience I’ve had in over a decade. Every time I leave I feel my best, and more confident in my own skin. AND since they take such care, I am able to continue on with my day without having to change my shirt due to things like my shirt collar being soaked or itchy fly aways (common experience at my previous salons). 10/10 experience with Al and the whole Lady Neptune salon! Everyone was so warm and genuinely friendly and Al is an absolute PRO at color and hair care; I got great recs for hair health and my vivid color still holds perfectly even after a couple washes. Salon generally was much friendlier than other salons I've been to, with a diverse mix of clientele across all demographics and hairstyles.
