Sweet potatoes are heaven , and the oxtail was the best, jerk chicken was fire as well - there was an audible Mmmm after every bite
Food is Great would like to see a more professional view, again love the food, but like to see more professionalism.
You gotta go to this place. The food came out fast and I mean it tasted amazing! Collard greens and cabbage, red beans and rice, yams and Jerk chicken were fire! Pretty good price too for how much food you get. Chicken was so juicy and tender and with the sauce sooo good.
The owner was a very nice woman. I really appreciated the quick turn around for food. The jerk chicken was absolutely delicious. My only complaint was there was no jerk sauce available. The sides I tried (rice & beans, greens, and dressing) were ok. We all have our preferences on how we like our soul food to taste. The lemon cake was also fire! Reminded me of the cake my grandma used to make.
My husband went out with some friends and brought me back some fried catfish fillets, nuggets, greens, and sweet potatoes. Absolutely DELICIOUS. Food for the soul FOR SURE. I’m 9 months pregnant and I’m so sad I didn’t find out about this place til just now! I will be coming back to get some fresh food ASAP
