this is a chop shop, to be completely honest. i usually prefer nail techs, but if i want a simple full set, such as white nails i’ll go to shops. and i’ve been here three times. the first time my nails were done horribly, the woman who did them stacked acrylic on top again and again until they were chunky and coated globs of white polish on, they looked good from certain angles but overall they were done terrible. her and another worker decided surrounding me at the end and repeating “beautiful nails” changed how they actual... read more
Okay so let me tell y’all about my experience because it’s actually crazy 😭 I went to this nail shop to get my toes done, and at first everything seemed fine. But literally TWO DAYS later… one of my acrylic toes broke. Like already?? So I go back up there to get it fixed, and this older lady does it. Tell me why she rushed through it, and the toe came out crooked AND didn’t even match the other one. It saddens me to write this review since the Ladue Nails location near the Galleria was my go-to nail salon for years. However, I got my nails done this past Monday, March 16th and the results have been extremely disappointing. I got a pedicure and a full set of Gel-X. As I write this today, Friday, March 20th, I have lost 3 nails. They have just fallen right off like cheap press-ons. Sooo goooooddd!!Oh my gosh!!! Nina is phenomenal. I havent had my nails done in about 5 years so I was a little nervous. I booked Nina bc another review said she was good. I couldn't be any happier. She is sweet, kind, very detailed and is very caring. You can tell she wants a happy client. She works hard. Just beautiful natural nails I was looking for. Definitely going back.
