Becca in mentor did my hair. She is very nice person but really is a sloppy hairdresser, none of my hair is cut well. I have never just gave up and left a hair cut before!
After trying 4 different stylists, I gave up!!! TERRIBLE! – I have tried MANY times to like Ladies and Gentelmen and I mean REALLLY tried! I have used at least 4 stylist and each time I am dissapointed. The good things about the place is that is is pretty clean and the stylist are very nice. The color they use is absolutly beautiful and does not fade like color used by other solons I have gone to. That is really the only reason why I keep giving this place a chance. I will go back! – While washing my hair I rec'd a mini facial, scalp & arm massage. Can you say heaven! Could have fallen asleep if it were not for the consant chit chat from the sylist. I could hardly hear the soothing music played overhead. My stylist seemed knowledgable and I believe gave me the right advice as we talked. As for the cut. BEST FOR T.L.C. – THIS SALON WAS REFERED BY MY SISTER-IN-LAW FROM MENTOR-ON-THE-LAKE. MY SISTER AND I HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE AT THE SALON. THE FRONT DESK NEEDS TO HAVE MORE ATTENTION PAID TO IT. THEY DID NOT KNOW WE HAD COME IN. OUR STYLIST HAD GREAT PLANS FOR OUR CUTS, BUT IT CAME OUT A LITTLE SHORTER THEN PLANNED. THEY SPEND A LOT OF TIME WITH EACH APPOINTMENT. Do Not Waste Your Money! – Every time that I have gone to Ladies and Gentlemen in Mentor I've had a bad experience. The receptionist are not friendly nor are they helpful if you have a question. I have had different services and each of them have turned out to be a nightmare. I tried several stylists and levels of experience and they are all bad. Haircuts and color is extremely expensive. Ladies and Gentlemen Salon and Spa – I have been going to Ladies and Gentlemen for years and couldn't be happier. I've used almost every service they offer and I haven't had one bad experience. They are very helpful and always get my hair exactly how I want it. All I have to do is show them a picture from a magazine and I get the style I want every time. Super Expensive for what you get, Terrible Colorists, Terrible Haircuts – We used to love Ladies & Gentlemen but it has definitely changed for the worse. We took our 4 year old to get her hair cut in their kids salon. She ended up looking like Carol Brady in the 60's. It was terrible!! They told us the cut was free after we complained. Gee thanks! Big bummer in Legacy Village – Friendly stylist, was a senior stylist. However employees and customers concerned me as most were sporting bad hair cuts/color, I should have left then. Suprise! My haircut is bad; it is going in the hall of fame of bad hair. My hair is clearly uneven and does not hold a style (I am so bummed). I'm picky and I pick Ladies and Gentlemen – I never knew what to do with my hair. I had a bunch of bad haircuts that made my frizz, waves, and curles just look like a disaster. A friend recommended Ladies and Gentlemen to do my hair for my prom. The result was the hair I always dreamed of. They didn't dye or perm it, just styled it the way it would compliment me and showed me just how to do it myself at home. Now I'm in my twenties and always happy with my hair.
