Sarah has been incredible to work with the past couple weeks since my daughter was born. We had a late start to breastfeeding because of birth complications, but Sarah designed a breastfeeding plan for us that increased my milk supply, kept my daughter full & happy and put us on a good feeding schedule. All the women out there, it is so so so essential to have a right lactation consultant right from the delivery, especially if it’s your first baby. I found a LC online (dont wanna name) and i had very bad experience, i mean they couldn’t even guide me with the right flange size , so i have been suffering with all the pain and craks on the nipples and other problem was that they couldn’t detect my baby has tounge tie and he suffered with bad reflexes all this time because of that. Ms Sarah is a gift to all Moms! She is a blessing to me and to every mom in the community. I would highly recommend her to my friends and even to anybody needing support for lactation and any other breastfeeding concerns. She is so brilliant and efficient on her craft. She listens and is really very compassionate. I see her heart on what she's doing. I love her! My family loves her.
From the moment I met Sarah, I knew I was in exceptional hands. My son was born six weeks early and we were in the NICU for 10 days. I was not able to breast-feed him initially, although that was my goal. Sarah came highly recommended by My Doula and Chiropractor, as well as some lactation consultants I met with at MUSC. I am so relieved that I went to see Sarah! Not only did she help us discover the main source of a lot of our challenges, but she also helped make me feel less self-sabotaging as though I was doing something wrong, and reassured me where needed. Her care plan was thorough and extremely helpful, along with her recommendations and resources to assist! The lactation consultant I saw in the hospital gave contrary advice and sized me completely off on my flange size. I highly recommend going to see Sarah.
