Highest recommendations! I am so happy I went to Lactation Loop! Breast feeding was very painful for me (and this was my second child- I thought it was going to be a breeze!) and my daughter was not latching well. Can’t even say enough wonderful things about Jen. She is an absolutely amazing person. I truly couldn’t have gone through this breastfeeding journey without her. Babe is picky and snacks for most his feeds. She makes me feel so reassured, helps with a pumping schedule, helped me with my supply, and is always a text away if I need any guidance or support. A huge perk is my little man loves her and looks forward to seeing Ms. Jen!! Can’t thank her enough :)
I did not see a lactation consultant with my first baby and I wish I would have! Lisa has been so so helpful with teaching me how to properly latch my son, when to transition to other positions, cues to look out for, the list goes on and on. She has been reachable through messaging and has been able to get me in right away when I suspected something was going on due to pain in my right breast. I could not recommend Lactation Loop, and Lisa enough!!
Working with Jen was extremely helpful. The at home visits and weighted feeds were so valuable for my situation in those first few weeks postpartum. She had educated answers to all of my questions and explained things in ways I could understand and confidently implement. I had a mixed experience here. They're very knowledgeable, and I was able to exclusively pump for 11 months because of their initial guidance for which I'm incredibly grateful. This however did not come without thinly veiled judgements and language of "failing" to breastfeed. I think this place is great if your goal is to exclusively chest-feed.
