RecommendedIf you need to rent or buy an instrument, of if you need repairs or any type of musical accessory, no store on Long Island can come close to Laconia Music Center. These guys have it all, and they know it all. Highly recommend!
I’ve been buying and selling numerous musical instruments and getting them repaired through Laconia Music Center in Floral Park for decades. Today, the whole family joined me as we dropped off our neighbor, John’s guitar for repairs. The whole Laconia family was there to greet us and we had a great time, as always. I can’t thank Ray, Joan, Charlie and Matt today for their kindness, professionality and unbelievable generosity!!! You guys are just the best and we’ll see you soon.
i really like them for their patience and professionalism. It can get hectic but they always strive to do their best for each customer.
The woman, Sue, who works there and handles all rental orders....horrible customer service!! Horrible! She is rude and unhelpful. This will be the last year I rent from Laconia, and East Meadow should look for another vendor. I'd rather pay more elsewhere then deal with them again.
Was given a broken instrument. Sent back for repairs. They had it two weeks and delivered it to the school where the teacher looked it over and was dissatisfied with it as it wasn't repaired. They picked it up on a Friday and said it would be back Monday or Tuesday. It's Wednesday and no sign of instrument being back. On the phone they are rude like they are the ones being inconvenienced. In my opinion , no matter what kind of business you have the staff is incredibly important, and the staff at Laconia is tops. I've been a customer of Laconia for many years and I've often observed the knowledgeable and courteous way the sales personnel would work with various customers. A big shout out to Ray and his staff.
